With more than thirty years construction industry experience I have matured into a confident, capable, and driven individual that excels in delivering multiple projects whilst maintaining a client understanding that is unmatched.
The customer always come first in all my projects. This means I fully understand their expectations, limitations, experience. Together, we draft a project brief that is used to guide the team towards delivering the project. My degree in commercial management and quantity surveying combined with my varied industry experience is the best possible platform for achieving this.
Experience
Starting out at a professional practice I got to understand the project from a client perspective; poor setup generally provides a poor outcome across time, cost, and quality. There is no substitute for a strong brief and robust cost estimate.
The next stage of my career took me to the contracting side of the industry, where I got to see the good and bad of how clients were treated. I have worked for Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors here and in the UK as well as key structural subcontractors. This period has taught me the value of clear and concise communication on a regular basis – a hallmark of how I work now.
Now, I am the managing director and leader of multiple companies. This means, I put together the best team for each and every project and ensure they deliver to my standards and expectations. The buck stops with me.
I have worked on over 300 structures, from small retail fitouts to live environment strengthening projects and complex multi building developments. There is nothing I haven’t seen or been able to resolve for my clients.
